Yep, you read that right! Thanks to all of you, the MiscDotGeek YouTube channel hit 1000 subscribers this month. This might be small beans for YouTube, but to me it’s a huge deal and a big milestone!

To mark the occasion, MiscDotGeek will be doing its first ever Live Stream… okay well Second, if you count the test I ran last night for about half an hour. Thanks to the few folks who joined and helped me test out streaming!

What We’ll Talk About

The first order of operations for the Live Stream will to do a retrospective, starting with the first YouTube video I ever posted, going through the development of the channel, the site, and everything surrounding that. And then we’ll talk about the future of the channel (and the site) and what changes are coming. Subjects will include

• POTA / Portable operations
• Branching out (putting the Misc back in MiscDotGeek)
• Commercial Gear
• Upcoming Projects
• New QRP Labs stuff
• Overcoming hurdles such as a recent ADHD diagnosis and how that affects everything
• Goals for future personal development and how they’ll affect the channel/site
• Your Topic! (See below)
