I recently joined a group at groups.io called “qrp-tech”. It started in 2005 on Yahoo Groups, and eventually ended up over at groups.io. I was thrilled to find such a treasure trove of information and a thriving QRP community.
Imagine my sorrow when just days later the group admin decided he was ready to move on to greener pastures, and unceremoniously closed the group! So I did what any person might do: I created a new group. I posted an invitation to the new QRP-Tech group to the old qrptech group in hopes that the owner would let this one last message through, so the membership would know where to go. To my delight, he did!
Many have joined the group, and several technical discussions are already taking place. There’s a strong bias toward homebrew radios, but anyone is welcome to join the fun.
The new QRP-Tech group is growing daily and we’d love it if you’d join us. Simply go to https://groups.io/g/qrptech and sign up.
We look forward to seeing you there. 73!
